Postdoctoral Scientist Position available to study electrochemically active biofilm

Description:
For the project of Advanced Research and Development Programs for Medical Innovation (Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development), titled “Tracking intercellular electrochemical interaction in human bacterial flora by gene expression mapping method”, we invites applications for a 2-year postdoctorial research position. The primary research forcus is on understanding of electrochemical microbial interactions in the human microbial flora. Statistic and quantitative analysis on microscopic image of the biofilm sections, construction of gene-disrupted mutant, NanoSIMS, FISH-staining, biochemistry, and electrochemistry will be used in the project.
